end of week 14

Wednesday morning I start my day off with an apple, a banana, and an orange for breakfast. Then I head to the gym. Its 20 minutes on the treadmill and then over to the weights to work my biceps and my traps. 40 more minutes of cardio and then I’m out the door. For lunch I ate a huge salad and some strawberries. Wednesday night for dinner I made a shrimp alfredo dish that was delicious. I have learned to control my portions at dinner time so; I did not eat until I couldn’t move.lol.
Thursday started off with an apple a banana and an orange for breakfast. Then I head to healthsport for some cardio and weight training today. I’m working my shoulders and back today but first it’s the treadmill. I finish with that 20 minutes and head over to the weights to do my routine. I finish off my workout with another strong 40 minute round of cardio. I ate the left over alfredo for lunch and for dinner I had a salad with a banana.
Friday morning for breakfast it was the usual fruit assortment and then I’m off to the gym. I start with the usual 20 minutes on the treadmill and then head over to the weights for a chest and triceps routine before finishing my workout with 30 minutes on the bike and 10 laps in the pool. Lunch was pizza and a salad. Dinner ended up being a tuna filet with broccoli and a baked potato.
Saturday for breakfast I ate an apple a banana and an orange and then I head to the gym. I do 20 minutes of cardio and then head over to the weights for a bicep and trap workout and then finish up my cardio for the day. For lunch I ate sushi and steamed shrimp. tonight for dinner we are meeting up with a bunch of friends as kind of a fair well event at a local brew pub so, there will be lot’s of beer flowing and plenty of food. I ate a salad and a fantastic cheeseburger with a huge portabella and some bacon on top. Rave revues for that burger.
Sunday morning I just have too much to do before we head on our big trip back to Michigan to go to the gym. I do start my day with a healthy breakfast of fruit. Then I Spent the rest of the day packing and getting the motor home ready. We are heading to some friends house for a dinner bbq, also kind of a test run for our motor home. Our friends live 50 miles up in the mountains.
I enjoyed my time in Humboldt County. All of the food in the restaurants is about as healthy and as organic as you will ever find. Every place I went to and ate at always had grass fed beef grown right in Humboldt County. I met some great people while I was here, ironically most of them from Michigan. I am very ready to go home though, 6 months was a long time to be away for me.
I know I face some new challenges when I get home. I won’t have the luxury of having the gym 2 miles down the road and I know I will have distractions. I definitely admit to having a hard time these last 2 weeks finding the motivation for my cardio. I’m just so tired of those machines. That’s the beauty of returning home. I have plenty off exercise tricks up my sleeve and intend on using them all when I get back to Michigan. Now, just a 2600 mile motor home ride across the country! My blog will not be until next Sunday due to the fact we will be rolling out………
